The gorgeous Delft Lamp presents a modern take on double gourd pottery, a design which dates way back to China’s Song Dynasty. It’s not hard to see why the silhouette has persisted in popularity more than one thousand years later. The voluptuous shape, rendered in high-gloss Chinese porcelain, stands as a traditional nod to the feminine form, here contrasted by a handsome navy blue finish. Light, vertical ribbing gives the curves of the Delft a naturally elongated feel, as its geometric gold-leaf base adds an extra bit of allure. This lamp is topped with a crisp white laminated linen shade, accented with brass hardware.
